Final project proposal

For my final project I’d like to do an in-depth sort of “profile piece” on a friend of mine through the medium of a series of poems. I’d like to write 15-20 poems addressing different aspect of the friend such as identity, physical appearance, behavior, and other components of the self. I want to try to achieve a comprehensive image of the friend capturing both internal and external functions. Ideally, the poems would be both mundane and exciting, giving equal weight to both the everyday and the exceptional with regards to what makes up this person. I hadn’t though too much with respect to the form of the poems, but I think I’d mostly write in free verse with perhaps a couple more structured poems throughout depending on the subject matter.
