Project Proposal
For my project, I would like to write a series of poems on my schooling experiences. I am graduating this year, and, with no plans for grad school, this will mark the end of my formal schooling. I would like to reflect on the impact that different school systems ( I have attended four different schools in two education systems – French/American) have had on my upbringing from my earliest memories to the present.

This is interesting. What aspects of your schooling are you planning to focus on? Social experiences? Academic experiences? Are you planning to focus on the difference between the French and American school systems? Do you consider yourself to be a hybrid product of two education systems? An interesting moment to explore would be the moments of conflicts within the two and how/if you resisted, how/if you succumbed or even your hybridity in these moments.
